Вот поставил движок на сайт, после этого, что луче делать? Ставил DLE 9.7 (Nulle)
По порядку, если можно

Следующий шаг у меня был бы - полное удаление и установка DLE 10 и не nulled, а нормальной.

adidas747, Я повторюсь - делать надо то, ради чего сайт создавался, а именно - наполнять его контентом. Остальное вторично и можно сделать уже потом.

Без статей и новостей перелинковка не имеет смысла. Если ставишь Nulled версию, то лучше качай с сайта команды которая его делала (mid-team например), на левых сайтах частенько шеллы добавляют в файлы дле.
По сути модули почти и не нужно ставить на ДЛЕ, мне обычно sitemap хватает. Остальное ставлю при сильной необходимости.
Ставишь шаблон, чистишь его от левых ссылок с помощью Notepad++. Редактируешь дизайн под себя, лишние блоки удаляешь, нужные добавляешь и т.п.
Редактируешь robots, закрываешь теги, архивы от индексации. Можно и страницы пагинации закрыть.
Добавляешь полезный уникальный контент и работаешь над внутренней оптимизацией.
