Тут зависит от того, что делали и как много, а в целом переходить на новую версию в любом случае рекомендуется и переносить на нее важные правки, которые были сделаны на старой версии.
Я обычно сразу переношу сайты которые не требуют многих правок, а те с которыми проводилось много работ переношу только если есть время на это и если в актуальной версии появилась нужная мне функция, а так достаточно фиксить уязвимости и баги. 

А в целом, если работы по переносу много и спешки по переходу нет, то сейчас не вижу смысла переносить т.к. по срокам в районе августа-сентября будет новая версия.

Вот думаю перейти на 10.2, стоит ли переходить ?

Я еще пока не знаю минусы или плюсы будут, вот хотелось бы узнать у тех кто уже ставил и тестировал.
